Maza Zi

Maza ZiMaza Zi, pictured here with his sire, was born at Return to Freedom on March 14, 2006. His mother, Shoshana, and father, Hopi, were mustangs gathered from a Navajo Reservation and went to auction. They were purchased by a horse trader for ten cents a pound.

In 2002, they were rescued and sent to Return to Freedom to live together in a grassy pasture. Maza Zi is a strikingly handsome young fellow! He is cautious of humans and lives with four of his friends in an 80-acre pasture of rolling hills and oak trees.
